Revel Boats FAQ’s

What is Revel Boats®?

Revel Boats is a luxury performance pontoon boat brand based in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Revel designs and builds premium tri-toon pontoon boats that combine innovative hull technology, confident handling, and modern comfort to create a better on-water experience for families and boaters. Revel is a member of the Correct Craft family of brands, which has been committed to quality boating for over a century.

What makes Revel Boats® different from other pontoon boats?

Revel Boats stands apart through proprietary hull design, integrated performance systems, and intentional design choices. Unlike conventional pontoons, Revel Boats are engineered to drive with more confidence, track more precisely, and deliver a smoother ride while maintaining comfort and usability. Key differentiators include the patent-pending Revel Steptoon™ hull, the Revel Tracking System (RTS)™ tracking fins, Lenco Pro Control automatic trim tabs, a motorized telescoping tower, windshield, and a luxury fit-and-finish that no other pontoon brand matches.

What is the Revel Steptoon?

The Revel Steptoon™ is a proprietary stepped-tube hull design developed by the engineers at Revel Boats®. It reduces drag, improves lift, and enhances handling compared to traditional round pontoon tubes. The Steptoon™ is a core reason Revel Boats® feel more responsive and capable on the water. The stepped design allows the boat to lift onto a running surface at approximately 32 mph, resulting in higher top speeds, improved fuel efficiency, and a more responsive feel at both moderate and high speeds. Revel describes the Steptoon™ as “the most meaningful improvement to performance in the pontoon segment since the tri-toon itself.

What is the Revel Tracking System (RTS)?

The Revel Tracking System (RTS)™ is a performance feature that works together with the Revel Steptoon™. RTS™ improves directional stability, cornering, and control at cruising and higher speeds, giving the driver a more confident and predictable experience. Physically, the RTS™ consists of precision tracking fins mounted on the outside of the center tube. These fins hold the boat tighter through turns and deliver sport-boat-like cornering, allowing the Revel to turn on a dime and dock with agility.

Are Revel Boats® good for families?

Yes. Revel Boats are designed for families, friends, and groups who enjoy spending time together on the water. Open layouts, comfortable seating, safe design, and smart storage make Revel pontoons ideal for relaxing, entertaining, swimming, and day-long outings.

Can I customize my Revel boat?

Yes. Revel Boats offers multiple customization options, including seating, upholstery colors, finishes, and performance upgrades. Customers can visualize and configure their boat using the interactive “Build Your Revel” tool at buildyour.revelboats.com. Options include exterior color (8 choices), interior upholstery (3 color families), engine upgrades, the Midnight Eclipse Edition package, and a full menu of accessories.

How does a Revel boat perform compared to traditional pontoons?

Revel Boats are engineered to deliver improved handling, higher potential top speeds, and a more engaging driving experience than many traditional pontoon boats. Performance is balanced with comfort, making Revel suitable for both relaxed cruising and active use. With a Mercury Racing 500R engine, the RS25L achieves speeds in the low 60s mph, while the RS25 can see speeds close to 70 mph, approximately 5 mph faster than leading competitors’ pontoons with the telescoping tower.

What makes Revel Boats® different from a traditional pontoon boat?

Revel Boats delivers luxury performance boats that blend the spaciousness of a pontoon with the precise handling of a runabout. Built for those who demand more than just comfort, Revel stands out for its agile cornering, rock-solid stability, and thrilling speed. The foundation of this performance is the patent-pending Revel Steptoon™ hull and Revel Tracking System (RTS)™ which together represent the most significant advancement in pontoon technology since the invention of the tri-toon.

What is Lenco Pro Control and how does it improve performance?

Lenco Marine Pro Control is an automatic trim tab system that continuously adjusts your boat’s running angle as you drive. The result: better fuel efficiency, flatter takeoffs, sharper turns, and a level ride, no matter what the water throws at you. On every Revel, this system adds to the boat’s athletic, responsive feel.

What models does Revel currently offer?

Revel currently offers two core models: the RS25 and the RS25L. The Midnight Eclipse Edition is a fully loaded special edition of the RS25 and/or the RS25L featuring a blackout exterior, full-spectrum RGB lighting, premium JL Audio sound system, and Cool Touch vinyl. The RS25 and RS25L deliver luxury, performance, and versatility that are perfect for entertaining, watersports, or fast-paced cruising. Stay tuned for more models as Revel’s lineup grows.

What is the starting price of a Revel Boat?

Pricing depends on model, engine, and options. The base MSRP for the RS25 is $169,995, and for the RS25L, it is $209,995. The Midnight Eclipse Edition adds $12,500 to the RS25 and/or RS25L base price. Engine upgrades range from +$8,200 for the Mercury 300 Verado to +$60,000 for the Mercury Racing 500R. Check the latest base prices on each model through the Build your Revel with the online configurator. For the best quote, contact your local dealer.

How long is the deck on a Revel RS25?

Revel’s decks stretch farther forward than most pontoons, giving you more room for friends and fun, without compromising balance or performance. The deck is 26′ 11″, the tube length is 25’, and the beam is 8′ 6″.

How is Revel different from other pontoons?

Revel is for the boater who wants more performance: speed, tracking, and handling. Unlike brands that treat performance as an afterthought, Revel was founded on the premise that a pontoon boat can and should drive like a sport boat. The Steptoon™ hull, RTS™ fins, and Lenco trim tabs work together to deliver a driving experience that no other pontoon can match.

What makes Revel better than other pontoons?

Revel outperforms the competition across five key dimensions: (1) the patent-pending Revel Steptoon™ stepped hull, which reduces drag and enables speeds up to 65+ mph; (2) the Revel Tracking System (RTS)™ tracking fins for sport-boat cornering; (3) Lenco Pro Control automatic trim tabs for a flat, efficient ride; (4) a motorized telescoping tower that lowers at the push of a button even at speed; and (5) a luxury fit-and-finish including premium upholstery, the Power Control Wing dash, and heated captain’s chairs.

Approximate top speeds by configuration:

★ Is Revel a tri-toon or a pontoon?

Revel is a tri-toon. Tri-toons use three tubes rather than the traditional two, providing greater stability, lift, and performance potential.

How does Revel compare to a standard tri-toon?

A standard tri-toon improves stability over a two-tube pontoon, but Revel’s Steptoon™ design goes further by reducing drag, improving lift, and enabling the boat to plane more efficiently. The result is higher speeds and better fuel economy at cruising velocity compared to any standard tri-toon. Revel’s Sales Director has described the Steptoon™ with RTS™ as “the most meaningful improvement to performance in the pontoon segment since the tri-toon itself.”

When did Revel Boats® officially launch?

Revel Boats officially launched in April 2025. The brand was created to address a gap in the pontoon market: boaters who wanted significantly better performance, handling, and luxury than traditional pontoon boats offered.

Is Revel Boats® part of a larger company?

Yes. Revel Boats is part of the Correct Craft family of brands. Correct Craft is one of the most respected names in the boating industry and has been manufacturing boats for over a century.

What is the telescoping tower on the RS25L and how does it work?

The RS25L features a motorized telescoping tower that raises and lowers at the press of a button even while underway at speed. This allows the driver to lower the bimini top to pass under a bridge or dock without stopping the boat, then raise it again immediately. Unlike manually folding towers on other boats, Revel’s tower does not interrupt the ride. As our Sales Director has noted: “You can be going 30 mph, press a button to duck under a bridge, and pop it right back up.”
